I was listening to Cosmo 105.5 fm this morning when i heard the most...BEAUTIFUL....song i've heard in a long while..what song?By your Side..from the LOVERS ROCK album...I Mean Sade can sing...ever since i was akid when my ol'folks played her songs i fell in love with her Music..and i felt it was befitting to just write a little something for her on my Blog...a truly dynamic Nigerian....

(Born 16 January 1959 in Ibadan, Nigeria), is a jazz, pop, urban and adult contemporary vocalist, noted for her soulful, smoky contralto. She achieved success during the 1980s and 1990s.

Sade Adu, born to a Nigerian father and English mother, was raised in Clacton-on-Sea, and moved to Camden Town, London, in 1984. She initially was the vocalist for two UK funk groups, Arriva and Pride, before launching the group that bears her name with an appearance on the Channel 4 variety show The Tube in 1984. Sade has also appeared in films such as Absolute Beginners (1986), to the soundtrack of made contributions, and on the Brazilian soap opera Um Anjo Caiu do Céu.

Sade was awarded a Grammy for the album Lovers Rock in the "Best Pop Vocal Album; for solo artists, duos or groups" category on 27 February 2002.....Sade also Has six Multi Platinum albums and a Gold Album...some of em:
