Yo Canibus on 2000B.C said why "the art of emceeing steady dying?" well then i didnt give a damn but right now things are getting ugly as more people wanna do hip hop these days .Most of em dont even know the basics and all this wackness started for me back in Year 2000 with the advent of St Louis Born musician(he aint no rapper)Nelly a.k.a Cornell Haynes this dudes slangin and rhythm adding to rap is what i say to be d chief cause of the steady decline of real hip hop and rap
cus they just dont wanna send a message anymore all u gotta do is rhyme about anything and its good to go.Another factor is this Club banger thing artistes like Missy,2shotz,timi,.and a host of other performers lose their credible rap factor jus because dey wanna sell.like Killah Priest said "they scared 2b urself cus u might see no wealth".
This factor is also a very leading cause of the emcee art deterioation imagine 2shotz saying real heads are stupid dat u have to sell out to make money .yeah d game is alll about making money but u cant say somebody wouldnt make money because he is true to hip hop@!!The Ying Yang twins also ndropped the title of rappers and branded themselves as entertainers all cause of this new club banger and "i must sell attitude" artistes like Ludacris and OutKast have turned into jesters jus to sell they Cds ,Dat shit aint tight cus the disease is slowly creepin up into Nigeria
Eeedris wack for sure no doubt but so many undesirable elements now rap claimin hip hop but all dey do b gather some rhymes get a bangin instrumental ad release trash..In my Hood i even got some dudes who think they from dirty south ATL spittin all dat youngbloodz,chingy type rap ...The dirty south i can say are one of the major reasons emceeing is no longer practised a lot...emcees no longer get they respect due to these elements i got one word for em though...
"Though i rap the hardest dont mean i aint into the money conquest".I rap to make money to but tha art of emceeing is gonna live on i'll see to dat tooo.............
